New and Noteworthy at Spaulding:
Infinite Campus Parent and Student Portal
Letters were sent to Parents/Guardians of grade 5-12 students the week of December 16 with information regarding access to the Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal. If you missed that letter here is the same information:
1. Each Parent/Guardian wanting access to the Portal must submit a request the GoogleForm at this web address: http://tinyurl.com/q7jd3vh
2. We will check the information on this form against the Infinite Campus database, and resolve any issues if necessary.
3. We will then send you an email (to the address you provide on the GoogleForm) with an access code and directions for setting up your portal account.
If all goes as planned we will begin having parents/guardians live on the portal by early January. We will also provide students with directions for access through their TA/Advisory in early January.
We appreciate your continued patience as we complete our transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus.

GOVERNOR’S INSTITUTES: The Governor's Institutes of Vermont Summer Institutes application is now available. Deadline for submission is March 14th. These residential, affordable programs are for Vermont 9th - 11th graders with a passion or particular interest in the arts, engineering, current issues, Asian cultures, entrepreneurship, math, science, technology, leadership, or food systems. Students who enjoy GIV tend to have a strong intellectual or artistic curiosity, possess academic skills equal to or above grade level, and function well in a highly independent learning environment. Most Institutes accept students based on their application answers and adult referrals. not their grade. Ability to pay is never a factor! Go to a GIV Summer Institute and experience hands on experiential learning, new skills, professional mentoring, life on a college campus, and more! Likely outcomes for students include greater self-confidence, higher career aspiration, and a statewide network of friends with similar interests. For more information on the GIV Summer Institutes go to www.giv.org or see Mr. Lewis in Room 221.
