RE: Phoenix
Program/ End of Year Report
Phoenix had an increasingly busy school year
in 2008-09. Thirty five students continued
their education through Phoenix
including 26 graduates with the Spaulding High School Class of 2009. These 26 graduates constitute between 10 and
11% of the entire Class of 2009. We at Phoenix, and I’m sure the
Spaulding community in general, are very proud of their accomplishments.
Many of our
students overcame great odds to graduate and in some cases even to return to
school. Four new mothers continued their
education through Phoenix
and three will graduate with this year’s class.
The Phoenix
staff is extremely appreciative of the Barre community and school board’s
continued support of the program.
