Telephone Info

Thank you for your patience. We now have our new telephone system about 95% complete and we are still learning the system along with you. Here is some basic info about using the new telephones. Also, attached are the lists for telephone extensions for rooms as well as Voice Mail numbers.

Calling within the school – dial 4-digit extension number.

Calling the outside world – push OUTGOING button – dial number

Note: if you all calling a long distance number you must have a long distance code. See Beth if you do not have one. Remember – Do not share this number as any calls made using this number are your responsibility.

Placing a call on hold – While on a call, press the RED HOLD button – then you can hang up or make another call. To get back the person on hold either press the RED HOLD button again or push flashing green key.

To make an emergency call – Dial 911

To set up your greeting –

1. Pickup the handset and press V-Mail key
2. Press * key
3. Enter your mailbox number
4. Enter your password (the same as your mailbox until you change it)
5. Press # key
6. Press 4 for personal options menu
7. Press 1 to change your greeting
8. After beep please you can record then press #
9. Press 1 to replay/press 3 to erase to re-record/press # to accept

To set up your name in directory or password -

• Follow steps 1-6 then
• Press 2 to change your name for the directory, or
• Press 3 to change your password

Listen to your voice messages

1. Lift handset, press message button, dial password then #

2. Press V-Mail button, *, extension number, password, #
