FACILITIES COMMITTEE
1.0 A Facilities Committee shall be appointed by the chairperson of the Board at the first regular meeting following the organizational meeting of the Board. The Board Chair will name the committee chairperson.
2.0 The function of the Facilities Committee is:
2.1 To monitor the regular operation and orderly development of the school building(s) and grounds.
2.2 To provide a systematic review of the facilities to insure the secondary education for all pupils in the school district is conducted in a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment.
2.3 To recommend building renovations and improvements to the Board that will support the district's philosophy and instructional goals.
2.4 To recommend policies and/or regulations governing the operation and use of the school's facilities and grounds.
