COOPERATIVE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

1.0 Cooperative Vocational Education shall be a program that
provides students with supervised, part-time employment
in a business or commercial enterprise related to the vocational program in which the student is enrolled. The
paid and/or non-paid work experience program must relate
to the voc-tech program in which the student is enrolled
at the Center.

2.0 The areas of the Cooperative Vocational Education program
may include:

2.2 Building Trades
2.3 Food Trades
2.4 Communications Technology
2.5 Health Occupations
2.6 Human Services
2.7 Marketing/Distributive Education
2.8 Office Administration
2.9 Pre-Engineering Graphics
2.10 Stone Trades
2.11 Hospitality
2.12 Banking and Financial Services
2.13 Accounting/Data Processing

3.0 The BAVC Director shall establish and approve cooperative
vocational programs for individual students in career
areas not included in 2.0 above.
