SENIOR PORTRAITS

Does it seem possible that your son/daughter is going to be graduating in 2012?

Where did the time fly? From riding the bus for first time, letting them adventure

on their own, and getting bitten by the love bug in high school… All the great memories of attending school. And so, this is your 5th Official Notice that Senior Portraits, quotes, and buddy pictures must be received no later than Friday, September 30^th by 3pm to Ms. LaFrancis.

You may contract with any local photographer (Lizzari, Beltrami, Catamount, Charlie Ritzo, Bruce English, and many others) in the area, but do not wait until last minute to have your portrait taken because it takes time to process, develop, approve, and return your portrait back. Please make an appointment with them now in order to avoid any issues.

Note it is NOT a requirement to have your portrait taken by a professional photographer. If you would like to submit your portrait electronically through a private party, please submit it on a disk or thumb drive with your name on it to Ms. LaFrancis directly by the noted date. The yearbook staff will contact you if the plant has concerns about pixels, clarity, and/or transfers into the program. If you would like to submit your portrait in hard copy form (on photo paper or regular paper), please neatly print the Senior’s name on the backside of the photo and make sure the portrait is at least the size of a wallet portrait. For yearbook purposes only, students may have their Senior portrait taken at NO Cost by the school photographer. If you are interested in this option, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can set up a schedule and contact Lifetouch in the Fall.

Please be aware of other deadlines as well. Deadlines for materials, such as Senior Quote, Activities, Senior Superlatives, and Portrait Proofs are incredibly important to meet. These dates will be announced once school is in session, an updated list of submitted portraits is posted in Senior Hallway, and information is distributed via the Bulletin and/or the PA System. In the past, we have had difficulty reaching all seniors at one time or another and Seniors have failed to follow through on deadlines.
